Torrington considers developer’s future (Republican-American)
A group managing a proposed $100 million downtown redevelopment plan in Torrington is considering whether to renew its contract with designated developer Jed Hayes, or eliminate it entirely. Members of the nonprofit Torrington Development Corp. met this week, in part, to discuss the issue because an exclusive contract with Hayes expires Dec. 31.
